David Robertson
Dr Thomas Parker in Bat Boy The Musical
A veteran of Pantheon’s 1994 production of 42nd Street, David is relieved that, on this occasion, he will not be required to dance. No stranger to the Pantheon stage, David’s recent rôles have strangely tended towards the tyrannous/misogynistic, including Fred Graham/Petruchio in Kiss Me Kate, King Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar and Sheriff Ed Earl Dodd in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.
A keen adherent of the method school, David recently researched the rôle of Pat Denning by travelling to New York and personally making a visit to the 42nd Street Theatre. (His expenses claim is currently under scrutiny.)
