Gillian Harkness

Gillian had her first taste of acting, aged 10, when she joined the Scottish Youth Theatre and RSAMD junior school, and has had an appetite for performing ever since! She became involved in musical theatre whilst at school, appearing in productions of Les Misérables, Cats and Phantom of The Opera. Gillian trained in dance at the Stage Dance School and was formerly a dancer with the Hamilton Operatic and Dramatic Society.

Whilst studying law at Glasgow University, Gillian found time to become involved in radio, including a stint presenting on Atlantic 252’s breakfast show. As Pantheon’s resident lippy little madame, the production team of 42nd Street saw a rare opportunity to put Gillian’s sassiness to good use in casting her as ‘Anytime Annie’!
