James Thom

J recently appeared as irresponsible tearaway Eric in An Inspector Calls, and over the past few years has played New York hoodlum Action in West Side Story (2002), favourite disciple, Peter, in Jesus Christ Superstar and a ‘supergay’, full-bottomed, latex clad robot Ariel in Return to The Forbidden Planet.

James first started performing in musical theatre at high school where he appeared as Orin in Little Shop of Horrors and Bobby Child in Crazy For You. Since then he has appeared as Tony in West Side Story and in Fame with The Apollo Players and has sung solo in The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

He has also played the odd gig with his rock band, Red Kettle, and has performed in The Millennium Dome in London.
