Lindsay Ashworth
Lindsay joined Pantheon in 2000, after performing in Godspell and Return to the Forbidden Planet (as Miranda) while still at school, and appearing with the Apollo Players in Oliver!, La Cage Aux Folles (as Colette), Fame and Big—the Musical.
West Side Story (as Anita) was her fourth production with Pantheon having appeared in The Sound of Music (as Solo Nun), Little Shop of Horrors (as Ronette) and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (as Ginger), all of which gave her the opportunity to work with fantastic production teams and performers.
In June 2003, Lindsay was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Music (2:1) from The University of Strathclyde, and the Alexander Stone Award for Excellence in Dissertation. She leaves Pantheon to pursue a professional career in musical theatre and begins intensive training on the Masters in Musical Theatre Performance course at Mountview Academy for Theatre Arts [mountview.ac.uk] in September 2003.
She would like to publicly thank Pantheon for the continued support its members have shown her over the past 3 years and hopes that her career will reflect positively on the club. The experience and opportunities given to her by Pantheon will be never be forgotten and she hopes to do everyone proud when she (hopefully!) enters the profession in September 2004. Lindsay wishes everyone in the club well: “long may Pantheon continue to stage the high-quality productions for which we have become renowned.”
