Matt Bingham

Like the star of 42nd Street, Peggy Sawyer, Matt has emerged from the shadows and into the spotlight. However, unlike Peggy Sawyer, whose rise from chorus to stardom is due to raw talent, Matt is now too old and fat to be in the chorus in the first place!

Fortunately, Matt’s maturity and experience has opened the door to a number of rôles, most notably as Caiaphas in Pantheon’s recent production of Jesus Christ Superstar.

Other career highlights include a three week run as Francis in La Cage Aux Folles at the King’s in Glasgow and the Edinburgh Playhouse, a far cry from his stunning stage debut as Judge Pig in The Trial of Hissing Sid (Town Middle School, Sutton, Coldfield).
