Steven Rance
Oscar in 42nd Street
Steve received his initial training at St Philip’s Primary, where with blond hair and high soprano he made the rôle of third-angel-from-the-left his own. After the setback of puberty, when his voice dropped and hair darkened, work dried up, though he found a new niche playing Pharaoh in Joseph.
Despite noted credits of Fred in Kiss Me Kate, The Boy in The Fantastiks and Polonius in Hamlet, his most acclaimed performance to date remains, ‘winning contestant’ of defunct daytime glamour game show, Beat The Streets.
Steve, who ironically teaches moral values to kids, now lives in Glasgow and in fear of being found out.
