…from the same production team behind West Side Story and Jesus Christ Superstar…
Cole Porter’s classic 1948 musical sets the Taming of The Shrew to music and follows the back-stage bickering of a cast performing “The Shrew” on tour in the American mid-west. The show was famously inspired when producer Saint Subber saw the real-life married acting partnership Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne as they fought their way through a production of Taming of The Shrew.
Kiss Me Kate ran from Tuesday 13 April to Saturday 17 April 2004 at The King’s, Glasgow.
